Sri Lanka and Nepal's hopes of reaching the Super 8 have suffered a major blow.
To qualify for the Super 8, Sri Lanka will first have to hope that Bangladesh's match against the Netherlands in Bridgetown on June 13 is washed out due to rain and then beat the Netherlands in their last group match on June 16. Apart from this, they will need South Africa to beat Nepal by a big margin in their match on June 14 and then Nepal's team to beat Bangladesh on June 16.
Nepal can also qualify but they will have to beat South Africa and Bangladesh by big margins and then hope that the Netherlands lose both of their remaining matches.
However, India, Pakistan, Canada, USA and Ireland teams will play their matches in Lauderhill between 14th and 16th June and there is a possibility of rain there this week.
