T20 World Cup 2024: Ferguson wrote his name in the pages of history, created an unbreakable record in international T20

In the 39th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson made a great record against Papua New Guinea. He took 3 wickets without giving any runs in his quota of 4 overs. The right-arm fast bowler bowled all four overs maiden. He became the first bowler in the history of T20 World Cup to bowl 4 maiden overs. With this, Ferguson became the second bowler after Canada's Saad Bin Zafar to not give a single run in T20. However, Ferguson took 3 and Zafar took 2 wickets.
