The government will increase the income of farmers, MSP of urad and tur dal may increase

The decrease in the production of tur and urad dal is a matter of concern. In such a situation, to increase the production and increase the income of the farmers, the government is preparing to give a big gift to the farmers. According to sources, the MSP of urad and tur dal can be increased by up to 10%.

The government keeps making several efforts from time to time to increase the income of farmers. Giving a big gift to the farmers in this regard, the government can increase the MSP of urad and tur dal by up to 10% to increase the production of pulses. According to information received from sources, along with this, an increase of 5 to 7% can be seen in soybean and sunflower oil. The cabinet can approve it in a week. This year the government can also announce a bonus. CACP has said this in its recommendations to the government.

The decrease in the production of tur and urad dal is a matter of concern. The price of paddy may increase by four to five percent every year. The government fixes MSP for 14 crops including paddy.

What is CACP and why does it decide the MSP of crops?

Based on the recommendations of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP), the government announces MSP for 23 crops every year. CACP is a commission under the Ministry of Agriculture. CACP issues MSP recommendations on 23 crops.

It includes seven cereals (maize, jowar, bajra, paddy, wheat, barley and ragi), five pulses (moong, tur, gram, urad and lentil), seven oilseeds (soyabean, sesame, sunflower, safflower, groundnut, rapeseed-mustard, and niger seed) and four commercial crops (cotton, copra, sugarcane and raw jute).

Foolproof plan to reduce inflation of pulses

The government has made foolproof plans to reduce inflation on pulses. Officials of the concerned department have claimed that the prices of three pulses will be reduced in the country. These include tur, chana, and urad dal. The prices of which may not have increased in the last 6 months, but remain high. The government says that at present many such measures are being taken which will lead to a fall in the prices of these three pulses. Let us also tell you what kind of planning is being done by the government regarding the prices of pulses.
