Yes, nowadays one such book and its buyer are in the news.
Actually, this book is a historical book, which is 100 years old. It was written by American author Napoleon Hill in the year 1925, whose name is 'The Law of Success'. Russell Brunson, a resident of Idaho, America, has bought the first edition of this book, the special thing about which is that it had Napoleon's signature on it. According to the Daily Star report, Russell says that when he saw this book being sold online, he could not resist and he decided to buy it.
Had to negotiate for a month
Since the price of this book was set at 1.5 million dollars i.e. more than 11 crore rupees, it was not so easy to buy it. Russell says that he negotiated with the seller for about a month and then the deal was finalized, but during this time he had to convince his wife as well, because she was not in favor of buying such an expensive book. However, Russell later managed to convince his wife as well and finally bought the book.
Because of this he brought the book by private plane
According to reports, Russell, a businessman by profession, has bought this book along with many other books written by Napoleon Hill and has spent an amount of Rs 18 crore for this. The most surprising thing is that he brought these books home in a private plane, because he did not want such an expensive book to face dust and dirt.
