Police investigation proves Manish Harishankar's allegations against Digangana Suryavanshi are false

In a recent development, the Mumbai Police have concluded their investigation into the allegations made by Showstopper producer Manish Harishankar against actress Digangana Suryavanshi. The police have found the allegations to be completely false.

Digangana’s team released an official statement, saying, “On Digangana’s behalf, we would like to officially state that the allegations made on Digangana Suryavanshi by Manish Harishankar in his complaint to the Mumbai police have been proven false. The matter is shut by the police. The RTI report is given to the media publications in faith which is self-explanatory. We didn’t want to give out any statement during the police investigation; we wanted to patiently wait for the official verdict by the police. Which now clearly states that Digangana was not wrong at all. We would like to thank the Mumbai police for their fair investigation and bringing out the truth. Thank you to all the well-wishers for always believing in her. Digangana is known for her clean reputation, and continues to keep it intact.”

Manish Harishankar had lodged a complaint against Digangana Suryavanshi at the Mumbai police station, citing sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. In his complaint, Manish claimed that the business deal being facilitated by Digangana to bring Akshay Kumar on board as the presenter of his show was fabricated. He accused Digangana of attempting to extort a large sum of money from him under false pretenses. However, after a thorough police investigation, it has been revealed that the business deal was genuine and that Manish was fully aware of its authenticity from the beginning. The investigation has conclusively proven that all allegations made by Manish against Digangana were unfounded and false.

Soon after Manish filed the false police complaint, Digangana filed a defamation case against Manish Harishankar and lodged a police complaint under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 509, 406, 420, 499, 500, 503, 506, 63, 199, and 211. Manish Harishankar was accused of spreading false quotes in Digangana’s name, attempting to tarnish her reputation, making false claims in the media, leaking a business deal proposal, signing a false Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a commitment of having money when there was none, and not paying Digangana’s fee for Showstopper despite his claims to the contrary.

This news comes as a relief to Digangana Suryavanshi, who has been known for her clean reputation in the industry.
