3 players of the Mumbai Indians team whom Mahela Jayawardene can target again

Mahela Jayawardene (Mahela Jayawardene) has returned as the head coach of Mumbai Indians (Mumbai Indians) team. The performance of Mumbai Indians has not been good in the last few seasons. Mahela's initial task will be to fix the team's combination. He may even target some of his former players to achieve this.

Keeping this in mind, we will tell you about three players from his successful MI team that head coach Jayawardene can target again. (We have included in this list the players who can be released by their franchises)

1. Krunal Pandya

Krunal Pandya is one of the players from his successful MI team that Mahela Jayawardene can target again. Mumbai Indians have not had any good spinners in the last three seasons. Also, when some early wickets fall, there is no batsman to take over the team. Krunal can fill this gap in Mumbai. Talking about Krunal's IPL career, he has scored 1647 runs in 127 matches with a strike rate of 132.82. While bowling, he has taken 76 wickets.

2. Trent Bolt

Ever since Trent Boult left Mumbai Indians, the franchise has not been able to find a good partner for Jasprit Bumrah. Boult is unlikely to be retained by Rajasthan Royals and hence, MI may target the Kiwi bowler. Now, it has become a common strategy to use Bumrah sparingly in the powerplay and keep him for the death overs. With Trent Boult, this could become an aggressive strategy for the team. Fast bowler Boult has played 103 matches in the IPL and has taken 121 wickets at an economy rate of 8.29.

3. Nitish Rana

Nitish Rana played a good role in MI winning the trophy in 2017. If MI cannot retain Tilak Verma, then Rana could be a good option. Nitish can be an additional batsman for the team. With the impact player rule, each team can have an extra batsman and having a player like Nitish in the team would be fantastic.
