WABetainfo, a website that keeps an eye on the upcoming features of WhatsApp, has given information about this upcoming feature in its latest report. The WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.21.35 update available on the Google Play Store has revealed that WhatsApp is providing a shortcut to add contacts inside chats.
The screenshot given in the report shows a shortcut to add a contact within the chat itself. This new shortcut of WhatsApp will allow users to add contacts as well as group chats to the list easily and quickly. This feature will be released with the upcoming update of the app.
According to earlier reports, there was information about a shortcut to add people and groups to a list directly from the chat info screen. Now this shortcut will be introduced inside the top app bar in chats.
This will make it even easier for users to manage their contacts and groups, as the shortcuts will be a more convenient way and will be integrated directly into their ongoing chats.
Keep in mind that this feature of WhatsApp is currently in the development phase. It will be released for beta users first as a test with the upcoming app update. After that it will be brought for everyone on the stable version.
